Project Overview
This spectacular open-plan kitchen and living space is a true showcase of bespoke craftsmanship and highly personalised design. To achieve the exact aesthetic the client desired, the classic in-frame shaker cabinetry was finished in a completely unique, deep tone that was specially mixed in our own in-house spray shop.
This rich colour creates a stunning contrast against the light, engineered oak herringbone flooring that flows seamlessly throughout the entire ground floor.
A defining feature of this kitchen is the extraordinary, heavily veined dark stone used for the worktops and the full-height splashback. To elevate this dramatic stone even further, the worktops feature intricate, stepped edge profiling, highlighting the finer architectural detailing and exceptional stonemasonry involved in the project.
The expansive central island provides a generous preparation area, complete with a flush-fit induction hob and ample breakfast bar seating.
Storage was carefully considered, with a standout double-door pantry unit opening to reveal a contrasting, rich walnut-effect interior. This hidden gem features integrated LED lighting, deep internal drawers, and bespoke wooden racks built directly into the doors for perfectly organised spices and dry goods.
Beyond the main kitchen zone, the open-plan room transitions into an ultimate entertaining space. We designed and installed a dedicated home bar, featuring matching cabinetry, a secondary prep sink, and mirror-backed display shelving. Adjoining the bar is a stunning, custom-built banquette booth.
Upholstered with tall, fluted backrests, it surrounds a beautiful stone-topped dining table, creating an exclusive, restaurant-quality dining experience right at home beneath the statement roof lantern.
