A striking, custom-built dark wood media wall designed to seamlessly house a large-screen television, integrated home cinema audio, and extensive concealed storage.
Project Overview
For this specific commission, our team focused exclusively on the design, manufacture, and installation of this impressive bespoke media wall, creating a definitive focal point for the client’s spacious living room.
Crafted to accommodate a true home cinema experience, the expansive unit is built from a rich, dark timber that brings a sense of traditional grandeur to the modern technology it conceals.
The architecture of the unit features a deeply recessed central section perfectly sized for the client’s large-screen television. To ensure a clean aesthetic without compromising on audio quality, the unit was engineered to flush-mount tall vertical speakers on either side of the screen.
Additionally, the long base cabinetry includes a dedicated central section fitted with an acoustic fabric panel, which is ideal for hiding a soundbar or center-channel speaker.
The substantial base unit provides ample concealed storage through a series of wide, handleless cupboards, keeping cables, media consoles, and everyday living room clutter completely out of sight.
To complete the design, discreet LED downlights were integrated into the top pelmet, casting a warm, atmospheric glow over the display area and highlighting the beautiful grain of the dark wood finish.
